Cuil, a new search engine started by former Google employees has had much press over the last few days. Some who have used it like it, others are saying they will stick with Google. I tried it and found that it gave me interesting, if somewhat uneven, results. I always urge researchers to use multiple search engines when trying to find information on the Internet, so I will continue to use it and give it a chance. Google will probably still remain my first stop, but Clusty, Ask, Exalead and other search enginesĀ are always worth a look.
