This month’s episode focuses on help for those who are dealing with divorce. We interview one of our area’s most prolific legal volunteers, Rosemarie LeMoine, a family law practitioner who has been instrumental in the creation and promotion of some of the best free help clinics for those people who are trying to do their own divorce. In addition, Stina talks about the push for a civil Gideon and some beers for the dog days of summer, while Craig reviews two movies about divorce, in the “Reel Verdict.”

April 22nd is Earth Day and according to Al Gore’s Senate testimony, Earth has a fever. In light of this, KCLL is going green for their eighth installment of Sidebar. Join us for a discussion of Environmental Law, Environmental Movies and beer that has a “green-side.”
In Part 1, Stina, Craig and Rita K. have a discussion (over a beer) about immigration resources, the best movie Oscar recipient, “The Departed” and what beer to drink for St. Patrick’s Day. In Part 2, Rick interviews Martha Cohen of the King County Superior Court’s Office of Interpreter Services (OIS). Marcus discusses the new Court Interpreter Services bill currently pending in the Washington State legislature.
