Introduction This guide will direct you to various family law resources available on the Web. The Web is best for finding forms and instructions for filling out those forms. Some basic general information is also on the Web, but if you have detailed questions, you will be better off looking at books in the library's collection. Ask at the reference desk for help if you are not sure where to start.

This guide is organized by type of action. Scroll down the list and click on the link that describes what you are working on. It will take you to a list of links to helpful web sites. You may need to look in more than one area. For example, if you are filing for divorce, you will need to look at the Dissolution links. If you have children, you will also need to look at Parenting Plans and Child Support. If you cannot afford the filing fee, you will also need to look at Family Law Court Procedures, to find out how to ask the Court to waive the filing fee.

If you have trouble finding what you need, please ask a staff member for help.
