The Board of Trustees approved a collection development policy for the Law Library in October 2003. The collection development policy, drafted by Law Library staff with input from the Board, guides the Law Library in making selection, supplementation, and retention decisions about the Law Library collection. The Law Library collection includes subscription databases, and the collection development policy provides guidance in choosing between print and online resources. The policy also identifies the minimum collection requirements for federal, state, and local legal materials.
